We are seeking a meticulous and skilled HVAC installation technician to become a vital part of our organization. In this role, you will be tasked with evaluating blueprints, codes, and manuals to facilitate the installation of various HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities- Guide clients on the proper usage and maintenance of their newly installed systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of all piping, tubing joints, and connections to ensure there are no leaks.
- Maintain accurate records of completed installations and the components utilized.
- Comply with all relevant codes, standards, policies, and safety protocols.
- Connect piping or tubing from HVAC units to their respective fuel, water, or refrigerant sources.
- Work with Water Source Heat Pump systems (both Horizontal and Vertical).
- Handle mechanical yards, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Install chillers, both air-cooled and water-cooled, across various sizes.
- Manage piping systems for condenser water, chilled water, hot water, and refrigeration.
- Implement ventilation systems, including conditioned single pass or 100% outside air (OA) and exhausted systems.
- Perform all aspects of installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Work with 4 Pipe systems for chilled and heating hot water.
- Install rooftop package DX and conventional split systems.
- Execute full installations of VRF or VRV (variable refrigerant flow) heat recovery systems.
- Handle VAV (Variable Air Volume) units and heating hot water systems.
- Manage duct systems, including crimp, S&D, TDC, coated PVS, and stainless steel.
- Demonstrate experience in sheet metal fabrication.
- Possession of EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification is mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and connections is essential.
- A degree from an accredited HVAC school and a minimum of 2 years of field experience as an installer are required.
- Must hold the necessary state and local HVAC technician licenses.
- Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial.
