Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapy Tech to join our team at Ingalls Memorial Hospital, a trusted hospital in Chicago's Southland. As a Radiation Therapy Tech, you will play a critical role in administering ionizing radiation to patients for therapeutic purposes.

• Administer ionizing radiation to patients under the supervision of the Lead Therapist of Radiation Therapy and medical direction of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Assist Radiologists with radioactive isotope treatment, general and surgical procedures.
• Schedule patients and maintain necessary records.
• Assist in teaching radiation therapy students.

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Maintain certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Retain an active Radiation Therapy accreditation with the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety.
• CPR certification.
