System Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician II

University of Utah Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our team in Central Pharmacy Operations. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in advanced tasks associated with patient care, including medication preparation, dispensing, and counseling.
- Effectively manage large-scale supplies of the department, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely restocking.
- Troubleshoot and maintain automated robotic systems used for the request and delivery of pharmaceutical products in the warehouse.
- Problem-solve operational issues within the department and organization related to the medication use process.
- Assist in education and training of staff and other trainees, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Current Pharmacy Technician licensure in the State of Utah.
- 6 months experience as a Licensed Pharmacy Technician.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations for extemporaneous compounding and special dose preparation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This position involves manual work that may exert up to 50 pounds and may consistently require work involving repetitive motions, lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects. This position is exposed to a low frequency hum which may require ear protection. This position involves standing for extended periods of time and is not exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
This is a full-time, regular position with a variable work schedule.
