Estimated SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $70,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. However, we offer a competitive compensation package, including weekly pay, benefits from day one, and opportunities for advancement.
Job DescriptionAs a Body Repair Technician Apprentice, you'll work closely with our experienced technicians to learn the skills and techniques required to repair damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition. You'll be responsible for following industry-approved repair methods, identifying damage, and checking work for quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform all-purpose duties, including repairing damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition
- Learn and apply industry-approved repair techniques
- Identify damage and assess repairs
- Check work for quality and accuracy
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy
- Ability to do consistent physical activity, including reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
- Ability to understand instructions, written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
