Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, including serving meals, providing fresh water, and promoting personal hygiene.
- Support residents with mobility, turning, and positioning, while maintaining their stability and comfort.
- Monitor vital signs, record intake and output information, and document actions to ensure accurate resident care.
- Protect resident privacy and dignity by maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with the nursing supervisor to ensure seamless care delivery and maintain a safe and respectful environment.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
The physical demands of this role include sitting, standing, bending, and walking regularly, with the ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds. Visual and auditory abilities must be sufficient for written and verbal communication.
