Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes
  • Convert best practices into company-wide standards and specifications
  • Develop tools to drive design for manufacturability and assembly (DfMA) into products
  • Champion producibility in the gated review procedure by crafting artifact templates and guidance
  • Act as a subject matter expert on manufacturing processes and standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience
  • Experience in process definition, development, deployment, and qualification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong coordination and project management skills to track, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to foster positive professional relationships
  • Utilization of lean manufacturing methods for problem-solving
  • Proven understanding of common fabrication and integration processes
  • Focus on world-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication
  • Passion for spaceflight and space exploration
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of professional engineering experience
  • Familiarity with applicable industry standards
  • Excellent technical writing, grammar, and presentation skills
  • Experience with risk assessment, management, and mitigation
  • Aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle experience
