Job Summary:

CONMED Corporation is seeking a skilled Assembly Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Assembly Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for performing assembly operations on a variety of medical products following written and verbal instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the accuracy of assembled products by checking work for proper assembly and using a microscope to ensure specifications are met.
  • Set up and operate various packaging devices to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of medical products.
  • Follow all clean room gowning requirements and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assemble, label, and package a variety of sterile and non-sterile products or sub-assemblies following established procedures and accurately complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Print labels as required and complete associated paperwork.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and machines as required to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of work experience in assembly and packaging operations is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to lift 20 pounds and stand for 10 hours per day is required.

Knowledge Requirements:

  • The ability to follow verbal and written instructions, work at established production rates, and demonstrate good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity is required.
  • Basic English speaking, comprehension, and reading ability is required.
