About the Role

Racine Country Club is seeking a skilled and experienced Mixologist and Hospitality Professional to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Exceptional Service
    • Greet each member personally with a warm welcome
    • Work as a team with all staff to maintain a positive atmosphere and exceptional food and beverage service
  • Manage the Bar Area
    • Keep the bar area clean and stocked with bottles and glasses arranged to maintain an attractive display
    • Maintain clean glassware
  • Prepare and Serve Beverages
    • Possess full knowledge of the full menu of beverage offerings
    • Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for members in the bar and dining room following standard recipes in a timely fashion
  • Manage Orders and Payments
    • Anticipate member needs and offer your assistance proactively
    • Effectively use the POS system to process orders, prepare checks, and accept payments
  • Meet Qualifications and Standards
    • Previous experience working in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred
    • Must possess a bartender's license and be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the dining area

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to take detailed orders and input/operate the point of sale system accurately
    • Ability to prioritize duties and be proficient in accomplishing multiple tasks simultaneously with a good sense of timing
  • Availability and Physical Demands
    • Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Ability to walk and stand during the entire shift
    • Ability to reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe
