Position Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and meticulous Day Porter to ensure cleanliness and housekeeping standards across our various business locations in Los Angeles. The successful candidate will maintain a pristine and welcoming environment, reflecting our brand's high standards. A reliable vehicle is essential for traveling between multiple sites throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance:
    • Conduct routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in common areas, restrooms, offices, and other designated spaces.
    • Restock and manage restroom supplies, ensuring availability of soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
    • Dispose of trash and replace liners as necessary.
    • Keep all areas free from debris and hazards, promptly addressing spills and messes.
    • Regularly clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces to promote a healthy environment.
  • Facility Upkeep:
    • Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Facilities Manager.
    • Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, tightening loose fixtures, or performing minor repairs.
    • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, requesting replenishments as needed.
  • Location Coverage:
    • Travel between 4-5 business locations in Los Angeles, ensuring each site meets company cleanliness standards.
    • Collaborate with location managers to address specific cleaning or maintenance requirements.
  • Customer Service:
    • Respond promptly and courteously to housekeeping requests from staff or management.
    • Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with employees and visitors at all locations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or similar roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple locations.
  • Possession of a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic understanding of maintenance tasks and capability to perform minor repairs.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a janitorial or housekeeping capacity.
