About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Arup. As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop HVAC systems for complex buildings, with a focus on sustainable design and energy efficiency.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants to develop integrated solutions for building projects.
  • Perform engineering analysis and modeling, including whole building load calculations and energy analysis, façade thermal analysis, and airflow modeling.
  • Document system design in Revit MEP and communicate technical ideas to a broad range of audiences.
  • Write reports documenting calculation methods and results, design assumptions, and other technical information.
  • Prioritize effectively, balance assigned work, and demonstrate exceptional organization skills in a constantly evolving environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Architectural Engineering, or Building Sciences related degree.
  • Coursework in heat transfer and thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, or HVAC design.
  • Developing interest in the built environment and a passion for sustainable design.
  • Proven leadership experience and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas in an accessible way and present to colleagues and clients.
  • Attitude of taking initiative, enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, teamwork, creativity, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
