Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic Trauma team at Medical City Plano. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
  • Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
  • ACLS required within 30 Days
  • Registered Nurse in TX or hold a compact license
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • No On Call
  • Rotating Weekends
  • Must have at least 1 year PCU or Med/Surg Experience in a Hospital Setting
