Job Overview

K2 Staffing is partnering with a leading General Contractor to find an experienced Commercial Millwork Estimator for projects in San Diego County, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend site visits to assess project requirements
  • Conduct field measurements and take-offs from architectural drawings
  • Maintain accurate records of each project, including materials and labor
  • Review bid requests and communicate with the project team
  • Collaborate with the company engineer, project manager, and shop foreman to ensure project success
  • Provide detailed quotes and answer questions from clients
  • Perform take-offs from architectural drawings to include materials and labor
  • Submit requests for information and negotiate with vendors
  • Utilize company software for estimating and maintain up-to-date pricing
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of woodworking products and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in estimating, preferably in the commercial sector
