Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CRNA to provide procedural anesthesia care as part of a team under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and experience working in an academic medical center or as a CRNA.
Responsibilities:- Deliver procedural anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and/or obstetrical procedures
- Engage in accurate, ongoing patient assessments and communicate with members of the healthcare team
- Administer general, regional anesthetics or Monitored Anesthesia Care under the medical direction of an attending Anesthesiologist
- Evaluate situations and inform attending Anesthesiologist of patient's condition
- Recommend anesthetics to be used, techniques of administration, and supportive measures necessary for approval by attending physician
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree: Nursing (Required)
- Master's degree: Nursing (Preferred)
- 1 Year experience in critical care nursing as part of successful completion of CRNA program (Required)
- 2 Years experience in an academic medical center OR as a CRNA (Preferred)
