Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our warehouse operations team at Returnmates. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage warehouse operations to ensure compliance with company policies and vision.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the logistics ecosystem to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between our logistics partners and carriers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and 3PL operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Setup and optimize warehouse layout to ensure efficient space utilization and minimize waste.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the warehouse environment.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to optimize budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Liaise with drivers, employees, customer service, and transport companies to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
  • Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Monitor the quality of services provided and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving boxes weighing up to 30 pounds as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager or equivalent role.
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage staff effectively.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred BS degree in a relevant field.
