Job Summary

This part-time opportunity involves working as a Behavior Interventionist, providing 1:1 behavioral intervention to individuals diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a member of our team, you will implement behavioral strategies to improve socially significant behaviors and quality of life.

You will work closely with clients, caregivers, and our clinical team to develop and implement treatment plans addressing communication, challenging behavior, daily living, safety, and social skills.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate BCI's philosophy of positive behavioral practice, compassion, and respect.
  • Implement behavioral strategies to improve socially significant behaviors and quality of life.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans addressing communication, challenging behavior, daily living, safety, and social skills.
  • Monitor patient progress by completing daily data collection and clinical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation.
  • Provide timely communication with supervisors about client progress and any concerns.
Requirements
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Pre-employment professional reference & criminal background check clearance.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Complete CPR or BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to obtain RBT credential through BACB within required timeframe.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with special needs (preferred, but not required).

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $23.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement based on performance and availability.
