Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

At Community Health Network, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine and molecular imaging procedures or therapies under the supervision of an authorized user.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, administer, and document activities related to ionizing radiation (radioactive material and/or computed tomography) and nonionizing radiation, medications, and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, and institutional policy.
  • Perform computed tomography exams that create the images needed for interpretation.
  • Work independently without direct supervision and demonstrate exceptional communication, technical, and patient care skills.
Requirements:
  • Current license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the State of Indiana.
  • Current ARRT (N) or NMTCB registry.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 0+ years of Nuclear Medicine clinical experience, with two years preferred.
