Position Overview:

Per diem role with limited hours

Hourly Wage: $16.20

Primary Duties:
  • Execute cleaning duties efficiently according to set schedules.
  • Ensure cleanliness across various locations including resident apartments, communal areas, and healthcare facilities.
  • Carry out tasks such as vacuuming, defrosting, laundering, and changing bed linens.
  • Follow specific instructions provided by residents.
  • Engage in team meetings and training opportunities.
  • Address housekeeping emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Report safety issues to management.
  • Adhere to uniform standards.
Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Completion of high school or equivalent education.
  • Previous experience in environmental services, ideally within a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication.
  • Capability to assist with resident care tasks if necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position necessitates prolonged periods of standing and walking, along with the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Visual and auditory capabilities are essential.

WORK SETTING: The role primarily involves indoor activities in an office-like environment with possible temperature fluctuations.

SUPERVISION: Duties are performed under established protocols with occasional oversight, allowing for independent decision-making in task execution.

SAFETY: Knowledge of safety procedures and active involvement in emergency preparedness drills are crucial.
