Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing infection prevention strategies to minimize the risk of hospital-acquired infections.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to promote wound care best practices and prevent complications.
  • Providing expert guidance on wound care recommendations and maintaining accurate data collection.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of standardized wound care programs.
  • Collaborating closely with physicians, hospital staff, education teams, Social Services, and risk management to ensure patient safety.

Requirements:
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Basic medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to move or lift patients and equipment.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in wound care setting, preferably with BSN and current CA Registered Nurse license and wound care certification.
