Pediatrix Medical Group Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OB/GYN and MFM sonography, with excellent communication and technical skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams for patients with high-risk pregnancies.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care.
  • Maintain patient records and sonographic data, and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in staff development and education activities, and maintain certification as an ARDMS-certified Sonographer.
  • Code services performed and maintain accurate records of patient care.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 months experience as an ultrasound technician in OB/GYN and MFM settings preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled in operating ultrasound equipment and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
