Phlebotomy Specialist

Pride Health is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility in Silver Spring, MD. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion.
Responsibilities:
• Collect blood samples from patients with minimal on-site supervision, demonstrating excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and workload demands.
• Maintain a high level of customer focus, ensuring open and transparent communication with patients, peers, and supervisors.
• Travel to multiple locations, covering Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice, and be flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
• Prioritize tasks effectively in a high-volume setting, managing multiple responsibilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training, such as medical assistant or paramedic training, is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections, is required.
Additional Information:
• Location: Silver Spring, MD
• Job Type: 3-month contract
• Schedule: 9am - 6pm, with rotational Saturdays
• Pay Range: $18 - $23/hr
Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
