Position Summary

Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center, a 118-bed Acute Psychiatric Hospital and Residential Treatment Center, is currently seeking dedicated LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES (LPN/LVN).

The LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES (LPN/LVN) will be responsible for delivering nursing care to patients by employing the nursing process. Reporting directly to the Nurse Manager, RN House Supervisor, or RN Charge Nurse, the LPN/LVN will ensure high-quality patient care is provided on the units. Additional responsibilities include:

Qualifications

Applicants must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current license as a Practical Nurse in the State of Alabama. A minimum of one year of experience in psychiatric nursing is preferred. Candidates must possess the credentials necessary for the physical management of patients and maintain current CPR certification.
