Front End Maintainer

We are seeking a skilled Front End Maintainer to work closely with supervision to ensure optimum levels of manufacturing production. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and maintain good safety procedures.

1. Understand and follow verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks.
2. Read and write, particularly letters and numbers.
3. Pass a Mechanical Aptitude Test.
4. Use measuring equipment and computer.
5. Adjust machines to maintain quality to customer specifications.
6. Judge the quality of cans.
7. Work safely and maintain good safety procedures.
8. Follow all JHAs and SOPs.
9. Maintain an excellent Absenteeism and Tardiness Record.
10. Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervision.
11. Exhibit self-motivation to maintain correct process.
12. Lift up to 50 pounds manually using proper lifting techniques.
13. Keep work area orderly in keeping with 6S principles.

• High School Education/GED.
• 2-3 years of experience with computer skills in inspecting, testing, packaging, and high-speed manufacturing environments.
• Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
