Overview

At Yale New Haven Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the nursing profession. As a registered professional nurse in our Emergency Department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients across the lifespan.

We are seeking experienced nurses who are interested in transitioning to an Emergency Department setting. Our eight-week training program is designed to equip nurses with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence and patient-centered care
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
  • One year of hospital RN experience required
  • ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required within 18 months of employment
