Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic LPN to join our 4A Cardiac Intermediate team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care to cardiac patients with a focus on CHF, chest pain, drug loading, and pre-CABG/pre-TAVR patients
- Monitoring telemetry signals and responding to changes in patient condition, including administering medications and performing various medical procedures as needed
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Participating in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Licensure: Current LPN licensure in the state where duties are performed
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion within 30 days of hire
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty; significant amount of bending and stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance
