Computed Tomography Technologist

UNC Health Care is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for conducting procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify patient identification and obtain patient history
  • Assist patients and family members who require extra attention
  • Administer oral and IV contrast according to protocols
  • Transmit images to QC, UNCH's EMR, EPIC, and PACS
  • Perform tasks in a timely manner and maintain a clean and orderly work environment
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months at time of application
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible
  • Advanced certification in CT within one year of employment
