Job Title: Registered Nurse

At Hutchinson Clinic P.A, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading safe and high-quality patient care at our Walk-in Care location. This includes daily clinical functions, working closely with the Director of Operations, and providing leadership, guidance, and assistance as needed to all nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a high standard of nursing care to patients in Walk-in Care, working within company and facility policies and procedures and nursing standards.
  • Assist the Director of Operations in making daily staffing assignments and adjusting assignments throughout the day to assure efficiency of Walk-in Care and to meet all staffing demands.
  • Review patient care processes and make recommendations related to training and skills development to the Director of Operations.
  • Provide leadership for the staff, to assure accountability for the services offered.
  • Participate in the Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Infection Control practices of the Center, and specifically, RHC compliance.
  • Assist with the investigation, follow-up, and local resolution of any informal or formal grievances.
  • Develop training plans for new hires or floats and act as or identifying appropriate preceptors.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an RN-related healthcare position.
  • Previous management or leadership experience is preferred.
  • Must be a licensed registered nurse (RN) in the state of Kansas.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
Work Environment:

Exposure to communicable diseases and toxic substances. Requires full range of body motion, standing, and walking for extensive periods of time. Vision and hearing to normal range.
