Crisis Care LPN Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Crisis Care Team in Pinellas County. As a Crisis Care LPN, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients and their families during times of crisis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Under the direction of the Primary RN, identify patient and family needs and coordinate interdisciplinary team provision of services under physician's orders.
  • Utilize monitoring, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and enhance the quality of life for the patient and family unit.
  • Supervise and collaborate with Primary RN and/or CTM.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a licensed certified Practical Nursing program and at least 1 year of clinical experience.
  • Maintain LPN license in accordance with State of Florida requirements.
  • Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Current IV Therapy certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients/families, providers, direct co-workers, and peers.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent typing and computer input skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance regulations.
