Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing radiographic and CT procedures with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring quality patient care in a professional atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consistently provides quality patient care in a professional atmosphere while performing radiographic and CT procedures with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Determines proper technique through the selection of voltage, current, and exposure time to minimize patient and staff exposure and to effect quality diagnostic images.
  • Properly positions patients to obtain optimum views of specified areas of the body as requested by physicians.
  • Consistently performs quality radiographic exams by determining proper technique, positioning patients, and shielding to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
  • Consistently performs quality CT exams by determining proper protocol, maintaining proper technique, and positioning patients to obtain optimum images of body parts requested.
  • Transports patients to and from the department and assists patients from bed or gurney to exam tables.
  • Assures that any required consent forms are signed prior to examination, and obtains pertinent and adequate history on all patient exams.
  • Practices sterile techniques and cleanliness at all times to prevent cross-contamination.
Requirements:
  • Must have graduated from an approved ARRT program.
  • Current Registration by the ARRT (R)(CT)(MR) or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year CT experience.
Working Conditions:

The Radiologic Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, performing radiographic and CT procedures in various settings, including operating rooms, emergency rooms, recovery rooms, and patient rooms.
