Professional Staff Nurse

Job Summary:
UPMC is seeking a skilled Professional Staff Nurse to join our Great Lakes Physician Practice General Surgery team. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of the Bariatric Program.
- Actively engage in departmental and practice-specific quality improvement initiatives.
- Take personal responsibility for boosting patient satisfaction through high-quality care and effective service delivery.
- Utilize research and evidence-based practices to support clinical care improvements.
- Build and maintain positive, supportive relationships with executives, managers, physicians, non-physician providers, support staff, and patients/families.
Requirements:
- Minimum six months experience.
- BSN.
- EPIC.
- UPMC approved national certification preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse either in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement with the state where the facility is located.
- CPR required based on AHA standards.
