Keyboarding Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Keyboarding Instructor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a curriculum that focuses on the competencies and skills needed to learn the different parts of a computer and keyboard, proper techniques of all letters, symbols, and numbers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain responsibility for instruction and classroom management.
- Teach provided curriculum in classroom.
- Maintain good communications and working relationships with appropriate staff, appropriate agencies, and class site location staff.
- Maintain good communications and work effectively with all other offices of the college on matters concerning the program.
- Adhere to procedures and policies for the smooth day-to-day operation of the program.
- Participate in professional development activities as required.
- Attend teacher meetings as required.
- Bachelor's degree and/or significant adult education/career training experience.
- Experience working in an office performing administrative/clerical duties (at least two years).
- Previous teaching experience in a college and/or Adult Education/Workforce Training Program.
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
The work environment is typically moderate, with occasional exposure to noise and distractions.
