As an ALIS/MPE Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting JSF operations by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data within the system through the management of internal databases and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be the primary contact during customer interactions throughout flight and evaluation activities while ensuring system functionality. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Daily interaction with users and leadership in ALIS/LM
  • System/database/software/firewall/account maintenance and oversight
  • Ensuring smooth and secure operation of multi-user computer systems through collaboration with peers and engineers
  • Re-imaging laptops, troubleshooting, and maintaining accounts
  • Regular monitoring of systems/applications for performance and availability
  • Training ALIS Administrators or MPE Administrators and users on the ALIS system as required
  • Performing COMSEC CRO duties and training others in COMSEC
  • Supporting pilots in Mission Planning/Debriefing and addressing system deficiencies

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
  • Possession of a Secret security clearance or higher, with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA) within 60 days of hire
  • Experience in IT across system/database/network/mission planning administration
  • Prior experience in Database Administration is preferred
  • Familiarity with COTS/developed Software (Oracle, SQL, and/or Siebel)
  • Willingness to work at deployed locations, support rotating shifts, and exceed 40 hours per week as required by mission needs
  • Capability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Desired Skills:
Ideal candidates will have experience in:
  • Troubleshooting applications
  • Account maintenance with Active Directory/Oracle/CRM
  • Managing large Oracle and SQL Server databases, executing and troubleshooting SQL scripts
  • Reviewing V$ tables and DBA views for issues
  • Locating user session data via command line
  • Database backups for disaster recovery preparation and maintenance
  • Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) for database backup and recovery
  • Virtual Machine Management Services (Hyper-V / VMware)
  • Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and managing rack components
  • Applying updates, including anti-virus and patch updates
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration
  • Importing/Exporting large data volumes
  • Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, including JSF ALIS hardware and software
  • Experience supporting the US military or Foreign Military
  • Possession of a US DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • COMSEC experience
  • Understanding of Military Flight Operations & Planning Processes
  • Experience with Precision Guided Munitions Planning Software (PGMPS)
  • Experience as Mission Planning Systems Support Representatives (SSR)
  • Experience with Personal Computer Debrief Software (PCDS)
