Job Title: Clinic RN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Care Atlanta. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to uninsured, homeless, and immigrant populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct nursing assessments and review lab results to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with providers, substance abuse counselors, and peer specialists to provide comprehensive care.
  • Administer AIMS and MOCA assessments as needed and assist with prior authorizations and Patient Assistance Program (PAP) applications.
  • Support psychiatric emergencies and orient new colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in clinic operations during staff shortages and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Minimum two years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient setting.
