Job Title: RN - Family Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Family Medicine Clinic at Moab Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting, promoting a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families, and all members of the care delivery team. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs, including assessing patient conditions, triaging patient phone calls, counseling patients, providing patient education, taking patient histories, performing screenings, and administering vaccinations and medications.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting
  • Promote a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families, and all members of the care delivery team
  • Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
  • Assess patient conditions, triage patient phone calls, counsel patients, provide patient education, take patient histories, perform screenings, and administer vaccinations and medications
  • Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards
  • Ensure own professional effectiveness through education and professional development
  • Participate in the development of and maintains established policies, procedures, and objectives; quality improvement; safety; environmental and infection prevention programs
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • One year of experience as a registered nurse preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age-specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs
  • Current Utah Registered Nurse licensure
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve independently
  • Able to lift/move up to 20 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 20 lbs. with assistance
