Staff Registered Nurse RN DOU Direct Observation Unit

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Direct Observation Unit (DOU) at Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in our 37-bed DOU. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from adults to geriatrics, and contribute to their diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment within 36 hours.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in unit-based councils to drive nursing practice and improve patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and research in nursing.
- Contribute to a healthy work environment and culture of safety.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current and valid nursing license.
- BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
