Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of veterinary clinic assistants, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Collect payment, dispense and label medication, and review discharge paperwork with pet parents.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve clinic efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with office leadership to coach, mentor, and inspire veterinary clinic assistants.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Responsible for all aspects of clinic operations, including recording accurate and detailed pet records and bio notes.
  • Share responsibility for driving the van to and from clinics, loading and unloading equipment and supplies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and assisting pet parents through the clinic process.
  • Achieve goals set by management, including dollars per pet, pets per clinic, and preferred product sales.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work weekends, varied weekdays, and times, with occasional overnights.
  • Punctuality and dependability are essential.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous customer service sales experience.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Navigate computer hardware, including iPads and Bluetooth devices.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work within a team to meet team goals and objectives.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
