Job Title: Mosquito Control Specialist

The Mosquito Control Specialist will work under general supervision to operate Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) spray trucks and hand sprayers to control mosquito populations and protect public health. The ideal candidate will have basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows-based tablets. Additionally, the individual should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate ULV spray trucks safely and efficiently in designated treatment areas.
  • Conduct pre-operation checks of the truck and equipment to ensure all systems are safe and operating properly.
  • Maintain spray trucks and calibrate mosquito spraying equipment to ensure proper application of pesticides.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows-based tablets.
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.

Salary: $20.25 - $24.65 per hour.
