Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,304.00 per year
Job DescriptionPOSITION: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reports to the Clinical Supervising LCSW.
- Provides one-to-one therapeutic services to clinic patients identified at intake as needing substance abuse and mental health treatment.
- Develops treatment plans in coordination with the patient's care team, connects patients' service needs with internal and external resources/programs, and assesses patient progress and reports needed changes to the treatment team.
- Provides individual, couples, family, and group therapy and conducts diagnostic assessments.
- May assist with the completion of parenting assessments, evaluating a parent's strengths, areas of concern, and their ability to provide a safe and stable environment that is free from abuse and neglect for their child(ren).
- Keeps accurate, up-to-date records on patients and testifies in court as needed.
- Supervises and evaluates interns receiving clinical hours at the agency and performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing to perform a variety of tasks associated with a patient's substance abuse/mental health issues.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of parenting and child development issues, a serious work ethic, and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to work independently, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Must have experience working with culturally and racially diverse populations in lower socio-economic conditions.
- Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and the general public.
- Must use good judgment in recognizing the scope of authority.
- Knowledge of Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) assessment is a plus.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a dependable automobile, fully insured, and a valid California Driver's License.
- Must submit to and pass a drug test and a criminal background clearance as a condition to employment.
- Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster, MMR, TDAP, and Hepatitis B vaccines, and recent TB test.
- BLS/CPR certification is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and 2-3 years of experience in a clinical setting and diagnostic testing experience are preferred.
