Superior Environmental Services is a leading provider of environmental remediation services, specializing in asbestos abatement, mold remediation, lead abatement, and hazardous materials handling. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asbestos Abatement Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Hazardous Material Containment and Clean-up
- Healthcare Facility Bio-Hazard Clean-up
- Asbestos Removal and Abatement
- Mold Remediation
- Lead Abatement
- MA Asbestos Worker License or ability to acquire
- NH Asbestos Worker License or ability to acquire
- RI Asbestos Worker License or ability to acquire
- Prior general labor experience is a plus
- Construction field experience or additional experience in related work; lead abatement or industrial cleaning, is preferred
- Bilingual a plus (Spanish and/or Portuguese)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to work in, on, around, over, and under equipment and machinery
- Must be able to work from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding
- Must be able to lift heavy weighted materials/equipment (50 – 70+ lbs.)
- Must be able to work in adverse or extreme weather conditions
- Must be able to wear and work in personnel protective equipment
- Must have a vehicle or reliable means of transportation to and from job site
- Must have high regard for safety in the workplace
- Good attitude: must work well with others and take direction
- Must be responsible and punctual
- Full-time Year-round Employment
- Pay: Based on Experience and Availability
- Eligible to participate in Health/Dental and 401k programs after 90 days
