Job Title: Radiation Oncologist

She Recruits, LLC is seeking an experienced and board-certified Radiation Oncologist to provide high-quality radiation oncology services to our veterans.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate must be Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) with a minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience. The position requires expertise in advanced radiation therapies, including 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy (3D-CRT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive radiation therapy services to veterans, ensuring the highest level of care following the latest treatment protocols and standards.
  • Administer and oversee treatments involving advanced radiation therapy techniques, including 3D-CRT, IMRT, SBRT, and SRS.
  • Utilize and manage the Eclipse treatment planning system and ARIA record & verify system, with at least 3 years of experience in the following treatment modalities: 2D/3D Conformal, SRS, SRT, SBRT, and IMRT/VMAT (following standards of TG-53).
  • Ensure all treatments are delivered in compliance with VA policies and best practices.
  • Maintain detailed patient records and adhere to the VA's Medical Staff By-Laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute personalized treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other medical staff, providing clear explanations of treatment options, processes, and expectations.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by the ABR.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience in Radiation Oncology.
  • Expertise: Must have documented expertise in the following areas: 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy (3D-CRT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS).
  • Licensure: Must hold a current, full, and unrestricted medical license in one or more states.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing in English.
