Job Summary

The Life Enrichment Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing activities that promote the preservation and enrichment of each resident's quality of life. This position carries out the activity care plan for each resident, integrated with the overall interdisciplinary resident care plan. Together with the entire team at Channing House, your role contributes to promoting a healthy and vibrant home for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resident Activities: Engage residents in meaningful activities, conduct programs with enthusiasm, and accommodate their needs.
  • Supporting Responsibilities: Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, and walking, assist with mealtimes, deliver and read mail, and maintain a tidy environment.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to use a computer, proficiency in Microsoft suite, and ability to input and retrieve data
  • Adult CPR/AED/First Aid certification
