Occupational Therapist Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Quality Talent Group in Altoona, PA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping our residents achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to meet their unique needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Monitor and record resident progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Provide education and training to residents and their families on proper exercises, techniques, and equipment use.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as our organization's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Pennsylvania State OT License.
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
