Electroplater Job Summary

Noble Aerospace is seeking a skilled Electroplater to join our team. As an Electroplater, you will be responsible for the plating of metallic parts to enhance corrosion protection and/or abrasion resistance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute plating processes and sequences to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications to set voltage and amperage requirements.
  • Clean and prepare metallic parts for plating by dipping them into acid tanks.
  • Monitor and inspect plated parts to ensure uniform coverage and quality.
  • Log data into computer systems for completed parts and processes.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate, read, and understand English.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and purchase orders.
  • Ability to follow instructions, specifications, and plating procedures.
  • Knowledge of using calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges.
  • Experience with procedures for running acid tanks and equipment setup for plating.
  • Good attention to detail to identify problems with parts.
  • Comfortable using a computer for data entry.
Physical Demands:
  • Walking/standing for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Exposure to heat, noise, and chemical fumes in production areas.
  • Good hand and eye coordination and movement.
