We are seeking a skilled CDL A Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at Wynne Transport Service, Inc. in Geneva, NE. As a Local CDL A Tanker Truck Driver, you will be responsible for hauling petroleum products in and around the local area.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a tanker trailer in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Submit customer paperwork and deposits, including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area, including regular inspections of vehicles, equipment, and cargo.
- Operate a tractor-trailer in accordance with DOT regulations, including maintaining a driver's log.
- Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement Required (If you don't have it, we can provide resources for you to obtain it)
- Class A CDL without the following restrictions: Manual (E), Air brakes (L, Z), Night driving (G), No semi-trailer (O), Intrastate only (K), or Medical variance (M).
- Clean motor vehicle license.
- 2 years of recent driving preferred. 12 months minimum of recent driving experience. 12 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
- Experience must be with a 36 ft. trailer minimum.
- TWIC must be obtained by OTR drivers.
- Must have a valid DOT medical card.
- Pass a urine drug test.
- English proficiency is required.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
