Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Stockton, California. As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for adult and child members.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including psychotherapy, counseling, and crisis intervention services.
  • Collaborate with treating physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and support to members and their families on mental health topics and treatment options.
  • Participate in staff conferences and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based treatments.
  • Document member interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • California Psychologist License within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices, psychotherapy research methods, and the bio-psycho-social functions that contribute to mental health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and psychological evaluations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a highly interactive multidisciplinary clinic.
  • Knowledge of psychological testing techniques, administration, and interpretation.
