We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to oversee our testing initiatives in the healthcare sector. This role is either a long-term contract or a contract-to-hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite four days a week. Experience in the healthcare domain and familiarity with cloud migration processes will be advantageous.

Our team is dedicated to supporting a prominent health insurance organization recognized for its dedication to providing high-quality healthcare services and innovative solutions. We are in search of a Quality Assurance Lead with a focus on cloud and open systems testing, proficient in API testing, Mainframe Testing, JCL Batch Testing, SQL Testing, OpenAI technologies, and Automation testing (Selenium or Cypress) to spearhead our testing efforts and guarantee the quality of healthcare applications.

Role Overview:
The Quality Assurance Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of healthcare applications through effective test planning, execution, and management. Key responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing and analyzing requirements for testability, identifying gaps, ambiguities, and potential test scenarios.
  • Creating comprehensive test plans for various testing types, including usability, integration, stress/load, vulnerability, system, acceptance, parallel, and regression testing. Generating test summary reports to communicate findings.
  • Identifying testing-related risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Assisting the testing team in preparing test cases, scripts, traceability matrices, and managing test data.
  • Verifying and reviewing deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Leading testing-related meetings with stakeholders, including third-party vendors, to discuss strategies, progress, and challenges.
  • Managing defects throughout the testing lifecycle, including logging, tracking, prioritization, resolution, and closure.
  • Monitoring testing activities, tracking delivery progress, and providing status updates to key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Quality Assurance Lead or Senior QA Analyst with expertise in API testing, Mainframe Testing, JCL Batch Testing, SQL Testing, OpenAI technologies, and Automation testing (Selenium or Cypress).
  • Strong understanding of cloud and open systems testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to develop detailed test plans and test cases for diverse testing types.
  • Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools and techniques for RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices.
  • Familiarity with Mainframe Testing, JCL Batch Testing, and SQL Testing for backend systems.
  • Understanding of OpenAI technologies and their application in testing processes.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, including knowledge of healthcare applications and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in software testing, automation testing, or related fields.
  • Experience with test management tools such as Client ALM, JIRA, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their testing capabilities.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity testing, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles for continuous testing and delivery.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to make informed decisions.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile/Scrum teams.
