At North Mississippi Health Services, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of nurses, and ensuring the smooth operation of the ICU.
Responsibilities:- Provide safe and effective patient care through the nursing process, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, delegating tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient care delivery.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families to provide holistic care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit-specific policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with changing trends in nursing practice and maintain competency through ongoing education and training.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Mississippi.
- Experience in ICU nursing, with a strong background in critical care.
- Leadership and management skills, with the ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and patients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.
