The Construction Project Management Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting clients with the restoration of their properties following damage from water or fire incidents. This position acts as a crucial link between the client and the Construction Project Manager, ensuring that all repair and reconstruction project needs are clearly identified and addressed. You will be responsible for managing and organizing project documentation and files to support our construction operations. If you possess strong organizational skills, are self-driven, and excel in customer service, you will find success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate clear and effective communication regarding projects with clients, the Construction Project Manager, team members, and subcontractors.
- Oversee daily project activities, including status monitoring, audits, and ongoing work evaluations.
- Generate and distribute regular updates through the Restoration Manager to clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- Review and confirm job site documentation for accuracy.
- Assist in the procurement of materials.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure comprehensive and precise project documentation throughout the process.
- Work in conjunction with other departments as necessary.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- A minimum of 3 years in construction administration or related office experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus.
Work Environment:
This role is primarily sedentary, involving computer work and customer interaction in a dynamic office setting. Some filing duties are required, necessitating the ability to lift files, access filing cabinets, and perform bending or standing as needed. Candidates must be able to successfully complete a background check in accordance with applicable laws.
