Job Title: Compounding Lead

Global Products Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled Compounding Lead to oversee the daily operations of our compounding department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality gummies while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the compounding team to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Monitor and control the preparation, mixing, and blending of ingredients to ensure uniformity and compliance with established quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of ingredients and finished mixtures to detect and resolve any quality issues promptly.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of production data, including batch records, ingredient lot numbers, and production quantities.
  • Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and cleanliness of compounding equipment.
  • Enforce safety and sanitation regulations, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory compliance procedures.
  • Manage staff, including performance evaluations, training, and development.
  • Implement and enforce departmental policies, goals, and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with management, supervisors, and staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Confectionery experience in a food manufacturing environment, with a strong background in mixing and blending ingredients.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) and experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical industry.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data measurement and recording.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
