Carpentry Specialist

Melton Design Build is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general construction activities, including framing, finish, and trim work for interior and exterior projects.
Key Responsibilities- Perform tasks on all areas and aspects of construction projects, ensuring exceptional quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to obtain necessary materials and complete projects on-budget and on-schedule.
- Communicate daily with Lead Carpenters and Project Managers regarding daily accomplishments and next day's assignments.
- Utilize power and hand tools, as well as electronic tracking systems, to manage work activities and track time.
- Read and interpret blueprints, and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- 3+ years of carpentry experience, preferably with framing, finish, and trim work.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills and daily planning habits.
- Proficient in the use of power and hand tools, as well as electronic tracking systems.
- Must be able to operate carpentry tools and equipment.
- Must have a positive attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk, and communicate, use hands/fingers, and reach with arms.
- The position requires the ability to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Must have an extensive set of personal tools and a reliable transportation to reach client locations.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
