Job Overview

EDAG, Inc. is seeking a skilled Certified Weld Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our engineering services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of welds and welded connections on construction site buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect welds and welded connections to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to established procedures and regulations.
  • Record and report work performed and materials used.
  • Contribute to QA/QC duties and support project timelines as a Field Engineer.
Requirements
  • Certified Welder (CW) certification.
  • Proven experience in welding techniques.
  • Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) experience is a plus.
  • General computer knowledge, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to keep detailed field notes, record data, and write reports.
  • Ability to read plans and specifications.
  • Must be able to work safely and independently.
  • OSHA-10 preferred.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Team player with good organization skills and attention to detail.
